In Croghan, the members of RHSNNY have turned the old train station into a museum teeming with artifacts of life in the old days. Their museum was once the Croghan Depot for the Lowville-Beaver River Railway (the L&BRR) and it is full of memorabilia from days gone by.

Some items of interest you might enjoy there are the Shay steam engine built by the Lima Locomotive Works in 1918, bequeathed to the museum by the Livingston Lansing estate. The Combination Car restored by O. Winston Link and bequethed to the museum by Mr. Link. Many many items of memorabilia can be found in the museum which you will enjoy seeing.

Museum Schedule:
(Bus tours available by appointment)
Saturday - 9am to 5pm
Sunday - 1pm to 4pm
Donations accepted, adults $2, Children and Seniors $1
(note: no trains are scheduled to run at this time)

Monthly Meeting:
The regular RHSNNY meeting is held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7 pm in the museum building. Please stop by to say hello!
